DR. YONI GOLDWASSER

Yoni is an early-stage VC investor and founder of the Digital Health Initiative in Berlin. He holds a PhD in Medical Engineering from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology, and has 10 years of experience in VC, entrepreneurship, management consulting, and corporate across the US, Israel, and Germany. He was a co-founder of Nym Health and is active as an angel investor in Berlin

DR. ARIEL DORA STERN

Ariel Dora Stern is an Associate Professor at Harvard Business School, where she teaches the MBA course “Transforming Health Care Delivery.” In recent years, she has served as the Director for International Health Care Economics at the Health Innovation Hub, the independent think tank of the German Federal Ministry of Health and as a visiting Scholar at the Hasso Plattner Institute’s Digital Health Center. She is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the German Society for Digital Medicine and advises a number of health care start-ups. She brings a trans-Atlantic network and perspective with her to evaluating digital health businesses and loves helping young companies with good ideas succeed

ALI CIGER

Ali is the Country Lead for Vaccines in Pfizer and also serves on the Board of the company in Germany. Prior to this role, he was part of the team leading the global rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine. He also led the digital therapeutics initiative for pain in Germany, where he built bridges with some of the most well-known DH startups in this area. Ali also mentors young startups at Reaktor.Berlin. He is an engineer by training, and is a Newton Venture Fellow from LBS. He is a father of two

JAN BENEDIKT BRÖNNEKE, LLM

As Associate Lead Expert at BWI, Jan is working on the digitalization of the Medical Service of the German Armed Forces. As former Director of Law and Economics Health Technologies at Germany’s Health Innovation Hub, he advised the Federal Ministry of Health on the digital transformation of Germany’s healthcare system. Previously, he worked at the Federal Joint Committee (G-BA)1, and as a manager of a healthcare law and consulting firm

DR. CARINA RUWOLT

Carina currently serves as Director of Strategy in Bayer's Pharmaceutical division. Before that she worked at the Boston Conculting Group (BCG) and she supported numerous health care clients. Carina mentors and coaches start-ups, e.g., at the Berlin Institute of Health.
She is an MD PhD by training and a mother of one.

DR. HANS-MARTIN VETTER

Hans-Martin is a business engineer/PhD with experience in telemedicine and venture building. He scaled telemedical supply at TeleClinic and spent 7+ years at McKinsey. Before, he co-founded an animal health tech startup and worked with Rocket Internet on several ventures

MICHAEL ROSENSTOCK

Michael is head of digitalization at Sana Kliniken AG, focusing on the identification and evaluation of digital business models, process disruption along the patient journey and data driven medicine. He also serves as advisory board member in several Digital Health Scale-ups and is member of the expert pool of the innovation board of the G-BA (“Gemeinsamer Bundesausschuss”). In his previous role, he was Assistant Manager to the CEO and CFO of Sana. Before, he has worked in Mergers and Acquisitions at KPMG and Rothschild. He holds a Master in Finance and Investments from the Rotterdam School of Management.

JOSCHA HOFFERBERT

Joscha holds a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience and has been working in Innovation and Healthcare for the last 8 years. He co-founded Hacking Health Berlin to foster innovation in healthcare through various activities and events like workshops, meetups and Hackathons in collaboration with healthcare institutions and industry partners. In 2019, he co-founded the healthcare incubator Vision Health Pioneers supporting early stage startups in healthcare in the development of their solutions and foundation of their companies. Throughout the last 2 years they've been successfully supporting more that 15 startups within a 10 month program

DR. FLORIAN KOERBER

Florian is passionate about bringing healthcare innovation to patients. Currently, he is responsible for the digital health startup and scaleup program at Flying Health. Prior to Flying Health, he was CEO of Newsenselab, a digital therapeutics company, and held different local and global commercial positions with GlaxoSmithKline. Florian studied economics and business studies at LMU München and HEC Lausanne. He holds a PhD in health economics

Markus is an international investment and leadership professional with +12 years of experience as co-founder in Digital Health, investment manager in Private Equity, and currently, Head of Commercial at DiaMonTech, a global medtech company focusing on digital diagnostics. He holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Cologne
